This is a hybrid role with the need to carryout site visits for surveys and training purposes combined with office and home working to ensure the support and development of the wider team.

What will you do day to day?

This role requires extensive interaction and working with team members along with a disciplined approach to planning and delivery. This will include:
Lead, coordinate, manage and support the delivery of all BMS Remedial and Small Works across all regions.
Manage a team who are responsible for quoting, project managing, coordinating and invoicing all small works.
Ensure resources are correctly allocated by working alongside the Regional Operations Managers to ensure timely delivery of all client expectations around the remedial projects.
Continually review the quoting processes, quote information from engineers, proposal documents, engineering standards and close out documentation to ensure auditing standards are achieved.
Provide Technical support and governance over performed works by ensuring proposals are accurate and equipment selection meets the requirements of the quoted works to mitigate unnecessary cost.
Proactively deliver quotations and proposals, using this experience to deliver a strategy of growth with the field based engineers, encouraging them to seek additional opportunities leading to a doubling in annual revenue of the Remedial / Small Works business.
Where required carryout site surveys to ensure exact details are obtained and where these works fall into larger opportunities liaise closely with the BMS Project Solution Designers for quoting through the projects team.
Manage the monthly invoicing, third party costs, accruals and accrued income to effectively ensure we have a positive working capital.
Conduct yourself in a professional manner in support of our customers and work colleagues
Take responsibility to deliver a first class service for project work to the customers
To act as a knowledge centre for all technical solutions and assist team members in their own development.
To assist Regional Teams / Managers in conversion of Small works
To ensure all works are planned mobilised and delivered on time and to the agreed specification
To assist in the development of the team ensuring continual training and development of team members.
Carry out Audits as necessary to ensure compliance to relevant standards
Take responsibility for your own training needs and ensure engineers are developed and motivated through training and development opportunities
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Executive and the latest regulations and codes of good practice specifically, ensuring all RAMS and Health & Safety measures are delivered and maintained to the highest standards

Who will you work with?
The National BMS Projects & Operation teams consists of over 55 engineers, managers and support colleagues. You will be an integral part of this team and will work alongside and under the direction and guidance of the Technical Solutions Manager.

Experience & Skills
Ideally you will have extensive knowledge and experience of the Trend BMS product range.
Have a strong understanding of HVAC plant.
A passion for ensuring Health and Safety standards are a priority in every site activity carried out.
Commercially able to make good business judgement.
Motivated and have good cross-functional relationships.
Competent to maintain the company and client H&S standards.
