Our website is a place where employers can list information about job opportunities, and where candidates for those opportunities can interact with those employers. You must be over sixteen (16) to use our Site, and resident in the UK. Where you are looking for employment you must be able to work without restriction in the UK.

Our Site facilitates interaction directly between employers and candidates. We are not an employment agency. We do not make any guarantees about the suitability of candidates or opportunities for employment accessed through our Site.

Where we seek information from you, you must provide this without unreasonable delay, as the proper provision of our services depends upon it. You must also use the facilities set out upon our Site, to allow our services to be provided properly. We will provide our services within a reasonable period, but we don't make any guarantees about specific timescales, given these dependencies.

Clause 8 of our registration terms located at

https://refermyjobs.com/media/j2rplmmq/registration-terms.pdf sets out our charges relating to the use of our Site and how and when they have to be be paid. Only employers are charged. No charges arise for candidates. There are two types of charges – a listing fee where the employer employs a candidate, and a basic fee where candidates are found but none of them are eventually employed. Our site also allows for the sharing of listing fees between ourselves and persons referring candidates to us.

The contract between you and us lasts for as long as you use our Site, and until all obligations owed to us (for example to make a payment to us) in relation to any employment are satisfied. Candidates can cancel the contract between us and them by cancelling their registration with our Site.

We will try to resolve any disputes with you quickly and efficiently. If you are unhappy with us please contact us as soon as possible. If you and us cannot resolve a dispute using our complaint handling procedure, we will let you know that we cannot settle the dispute with you, and if you are accessing our Site on a personal basis rather than in relation to your business, you may also use the online dispute resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr to resolve the dispute with us. You may always seek to resolve disputes with us via the courts.
